I diagrammed the site thinking about drone versus human landmarks, and what causes something to become a landmark in space, and how that affects peoples perceptions of their environments. Using Kevin Lynch's "The Image of the City" as precedent, I diagrammed existing landmarks around the site, both human and drone.
After diagramming landmarks that exist, I thought about and diagrammed how this Amazon Prime Air center would become a new landmark. I considered how the drones themselves would become new landmarks- or sky-marks of this newly apparent sky-scape or space. I also researched how drones would land and charge, to better design the ceiling system to accommodate for the drones to charge.
