Secret Maps//Impossible Fictions
This was the third and final project of my Fall 2017 Representation 121 class. I eroded a Styrofoam cube with Acetone, and scanned the result into a 3-D modeling software. Then I proceeded to create a building, treating the cube as the site within which the building was situated. My design is called the Ruby Room Bank which is strategically carved into the side of a cave (the cube site), and explores the ideas of security, vivacity, and opportunity through the site and design of the building.
